‘Pupils feel safe and their behaviour is outstanding.’
A Warm Welcome to Our School Website
I trust that this website will offer you a glimpse of the life and character of the school that I am so proud and privileged to lead. At the heart of our school community are the children. Our primary duty is to ensure that all our pupils fulfil their academic potential, but I am aware that they have a great deal to learn and much to enjoy in all they do beyond their formal lessons.
Through the deep commitment, hard work and inspiration of the staff and governors, the children are given the opportunity to enjoy a broad academic curriculum that is complemented by a rich extra-curricular programme and supported by our excellent pastoral care.Through our motto ‘Aim High, Achieve High’, the children are encouraged to show ambition, be creative and to make the most of the opportunities available to them, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support. Our parents are supportive and engaged with all that we do and their enthusiasm for the school helps us to keep improving on
our previous best.
The foundations of life-long learning are established here. We realise each child is unique. We want our children to be successful, enjoy their time in school and feel safe and secure. To gain a genuine sense of the ethos and energy of the school we encourage a visit to the school. There you will see how the children engage with their learning, collaborate with their peers and the teaching staff and see how they uphold the values of compassion, perseverance, tolerance and integrity that we hold so dear.
