Policies

Wilkes Green Junior School policies aim to provide staff, pupils, parents and carers with clear information about the organisation and values of Wilkes Green and the standards of behaviour expected by all members of the school community. These policies enable us to work together to do the best for those in our care.

When you come to Wilkes Green Junior School you are joining a community of about 360 pupils. In order for the school community to function effectively and happily so that there is ‘respect for others’ and ‘respect for property’, certain rules are needed. Wilkes Green Junior School sets high expectations for behaviour and endeavours to develop pupils so that they are able to take a moral lead, and to respond to situations in a positive way. In joining our school community acceptance of these standards is assumed, and compliance with them is expected.

Our policies are detailed in the School Prospectus which is sent to the parents of all new pupils, and we hope that in conjunction with other, more detailed and specific information that will be sent out from time to time, it will provide a useful reference for you whilst your son or daughter is in the School. There will inevitably be very occasional changes to this School Prospectus, and you will be told about these as they happen. The most recent version can always be found here on the School’s website.

If you would like a replacement printed copy of the School Prospectus at any time, please contact the School Office on 0121 554 0999 or email: .
